For three and a half years of excruciatingly hard work, full on dedication from the talent and workers alike, constant reinvention, and providing a fan-first brand, EMERGE Professional Wrestling has become a staple in the Midwestern independent wrestling scene. EMERGE championships are now highly sought after and pursued by some of the best superstars the business has to offer. While this provides amazing shows for EMERGE fans to enjoy, the journey to being the top performer in the EMERGE locker room is now one of the most difficult one that the superstars must embark on.
Before EMERGE 34, our EMERGE Offices informed the fans that EMERGE had outgrown the routine Downtown Throwdown location and was now running as Firework and Firsticuffs, a FREE event on July 3rd at Harrison College during the fireworks display put on by QMIX. This event is going to be revolutionary for EMERGE.
In order to determine the next #1 contender for the EMERGE Heavyweight Championship, Commissioner Lowe offered a challenge for thirty men to participate in the first ever Red, White, and Bruise Battle Royal. Two men will start the match, and periodically every minute, another man will enter. The only way to be eliminated in this match is to be thrown over the top rope and for both feet to make contact with the floor. The last man standing will become the next #1 contender for the EMERGE Heavyweight Championship. With this setup, this battle royalel will determine the smartest, strongest, and most determined performer on the EMERGE roster.
Although stars like Jared Kripke and Justin Meyers from J-Squared as well as Dave Davidson have announced that they will be participating in this Battle Royale, one can never be certain as to who you might see compete. In the end, one man will stand victorious on Tuesday July 3rd.
